About Lil Renzo
Lil Renzo (Lorenzo Espinoza) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and music producer. He was born December 18, 1991 in Taos New Mexico.
Since his father was also a rapper and producer, his love for music began at an early age. Making his first beat at the age of 12 and recording his first song at 13.
Early on, his music would be greatly influenced by the Gangsta Rap sound of the 90's and early 2000's. Growing up, listening to artists like: Eminem, Cypress Hill, Ice Cube, 2Pac, Mac Dre, and E-40 to name a few.
Later, his hunger for financial freedom and a career as an independent artist would lead him toward more modern artists, such as: Mac Miller, J Cole, Logic, Kanye West, Russ and Tyler The Creator.
His style seems to be a mixture of elements from both the old school and newer genres of Hip Hop. This mix gives him a unique spectrum of songs that sound like they could have possibly been 90's West Coast classics, to songs that are smooth, soulful, and in most cases uplifting.
